Energy XXI's production and operations are principally located offshore Louisiana in water depths ranging from less than 20 feet to 300 feet, although one primary leasehold interest is at a depth of 3,150 feet. The reservoirs in these fields are generally characterized as having high porosity and permeability, which typically results in high production rates. The South Timbalier 21 Field is our largest single asset and is located 6 miles offshore of LaFourche Parish, Louisiana in approximately 50 feet of water. This company-operated field is a high-quality, mature oil field that has produced in excess of 300 MMBOE since first production began in 1957.
